Sales Planning Analyst Intern role focused on analyzing sales data, supporting planning processes, and improving reporting for the Revenue Operations team. This internship provides exposure to data-driven business decisions in sales, finance, and operations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the annual sales and fiscal year planning process through data analysis and reporting
  2. Assist with territory planning, headcount planning, and incentive compensation analysis
  3. Partner with Sales Operations to help maintain forecasting models and reporting cadence (weekly, quarterly, annual)
  4. Help gather business requirements and contribute to defining key performance indicators (KPIs)
  5. Create and maintain dashboards and reports, both recurring and ad hoc

Skills

Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with data in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or similar platforms
  • Interest in sales operations, revenue operations, or business analytics
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn from cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and collaboratively

Nice to have

  • Exposure to tools like Salesforce, NetSuite, or data platforms
  • Familiarity with basic statistical concepts (e.g., forecasting, regression)
