Sales Readiness Lead, Amazon Business Enablement

This role is responsible for designing, building, and facilitating ongoing learning experiences for the sales organization, focusing on continuous skill development in core selling competencies. It involves analyzing field feedback, designing learning journeys, developing curricula, facilitating training, and leveraging data analytics to measure program impact. The role also involves enabling sales managers and ensuring content governance. While the role uses AI tools and aims to build AI fluency into learning programs, its core function is sales enablement and product development, not direct AI/ML model building.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and maintain a structured post-onboarding learning journey that reinforces and builds on foundational skills, adapting to evolving business priorities and sales team maturity levels. Ensure program outputs feed into agentic tools and recommendation engines to deliver personalized, just-in-time learning at scale.
  2. Design and build structured curricula (modules, paths, certifications) using adult learning principles, ensuring content is role-relevant, outcome-based, and measurable.
  3. Deliver engaging instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual instructor-led training (vILT) sessions; facilitate workshops, role-plays, and peer learning cohorts.
  4. Own learning analytics — partner with BI to build and maintain dashboards tracking program engagement, completion, and impact; report insights to leadership and use data to continuously refine content and delivery.
  5. Partner with the onboarding lead to define clear transition points from new hire onboarding into everboarding; ensure continuity of learning journey and eliminate gaps or redundancies

Skills

Required

  • Sales operations experience
  • Microsoft Excel experience
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies

Nice to have

  • Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools experience
  • Presenting to senior leadership
  • Master's degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Analyzing business metrics and training data to measure program effectiveness
