This role focuses on driving programmatic revenue growth for Netflix by building customer and partner relationships, persuading advertisers to invest in data-enabled programmatic solutions, and demonstrating the value of audience-driven strategies. The lead will act as a subject matter expert in programmatic buying, DSPs, and ad tech, developing compelling business cases and ensuring seamless activation across platforms. Success is measured by programmatic spend growth, influencing stakeholders, delivering technical solutions, and overall revenue performance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as a subject matter expert on programmatic buying, DSPs, and ad tech to drive automation and operational efficiencies for Netflix customers.
  2. Orchestrate seamless, scalable activation pathways and partner with internal sales teams to craft programmatic-first proposals that drive adoption and customer investment.
  3. Build and maintain high-impact relationships with key clients, agencies, DSPs, and platform partners to influence investment decisions.
  4. Develop compelling, data-driven value narratives that leverage case studies and measurement frameworks to prove the demonstrable ROI of programmatic media for key business outcomes.
  5. Lead discovery and consultative engagements with advertisers, ensuring programmatic investments are aligned with their marketing objectives and growth goals.

Skills

Required

  • Fluency in English and German
  • 8+ years in programmatic technical sales, ad tech consultancy, or audience strategy
  • 5+ years of proven sales experience persuading advertisers
  • Exceptional client-facing communication
  • Consultative selling skills
  • Technical expertise in DSPs, audience segmentation, and data-driven programmatic activation
  • Strong understanding of audience activation within programmatic advertising
