What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with cross-functional leadership (Sales, Product, Finance, Compensation, Business Intelligence, Marketing) to drive alignment on business goals, forecasting, and strategic planning for your assigned sales teams.
  2. Lead the annual planning cycles, including the development of business plans, operating models, resource allocation, territory optimization, and quota design.
  3. Structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives by developing comprehensive work plans, synthesizing complex data, leading critical analyses, and delivering actionable recommendations to leadership.
  4. Oversee the forecasting cadence, CRM data integrity, and business reporting to ensure transparency and accountability for assigned business objectives.
  5. Act as a critical escalation point to identify and resolve operational friction in the agreement cycle, streamlining workflows to maximize the time our sales representatives spend in the field engaging with customers.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience developing investigative models using spreadsheet software
  • Experience using presentation software to facilitate communication with stakeholders

Nice to have

  • MBA or Master's degree
  • Experience in sales operations or strategy planning for public sector sales teams
  • Experience with compensation management tools (e.g., Anaplan, SAP, OIC, Xactly) and Salesforce reporting
  • Experience in problem-solving and project management to execute complex strategic and operational initiatives
