Salesforce is seeking a Sales Strategy Lead to partner with global sales leadership, focusing on strategic planning, sales optimization, and business operations. This role requires expertise in data and analytics to provide strategic recommendations and insights through data-driven storytelling. The successful candidate will design and build executive-level dashboards, define key performance metrics, and enable operational rhythms. They will also perform ad-hoc analyses, create executive presentations, and collaborate across functions to align on goals and inform decisions. The role emphasizes data literacy, critical thinking, business exploration, results orientation, knowledge management, and stakeholder management. Experience with Salesforce CRM, SQL, Tableau, and AI tools is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as the go-to expert on data and analytics, providing strategic recommendations and insights through compelling, data-driven storytelling to influence key stakeholders.
  2. Design and build executive-level dashboards and self-serve reporting tools to track KPIs.
  3. Define key performance metrics and targets, build reports and dashboards to derive insights into the health of the business, identify areas of weakness, and present improvement recommendations to sales leadership.
  4. Enable and automate operational rhythms such as quarterly and monthly business reviews and annual planning by delivering high-quality insights and visuals.
  5. Perform ad-hoc analyses across multiple data sets and tools (examples include customer segmentation, sales participation, propensity to buy, market deep dives, white space, etc.).

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years (Senior Analyst) or 5+ years (Manager) of professional experience in consulting, sales strategy/business operations, or a highly analytical role, with demonstrated experience in data analytics / business intelligence.
  • Strong business acumen with a passion for data and analytics, including in-depth knowledge of sales-related datasets / metrics
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to zoom out and think strategically.
  • A "get-it-done" attitude

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM; intermediate level of SQL, Tableau, and AI tools (Claude, Codex, etc.), with interest to advance.
  • Experience in quantitative analysis and financial modeling.
