Salesforce is seeking a Sales Strategy Senior Analyst/Analyst to partner with sales leadership on strategic planning, sales optimization, and business operational support. The role involves using data to drive insights, build scalable assets, and guide execution, with projects ranging from Go-To-Market planning to business performance reviews. Responsibilities include defining KPIs, performing ad-hoc analyses, creating executive presentations, and troubleshooting operational issues. The role requires strong analytical skills, Excel, SQL, and Tableau experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define key performance metrics and targets, build reports and dashboards to derive insights into the health of the business, identify areas of weakness, and present improvement recommendations to sales leadership.
  2. Perform ad-hoc analyses across multiple data sets and tools (examples of analyses include customer segmentation, sales participation, propensity to buy, white space, etc.).
  3. Create executive**-**level presentations for both local and global leadership reviews; organize quarterly business reviews.
  4. Assist in troubleshooting of operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems and processes to fix root causes.
  5. Ability to handle ambiguity and problem solve using a structured, logical approach.

Skills

Required

  • 2-3+ years of professional experience, in a highly analytical role or strategy department
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • experience with SQL and Tableau
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
