Sales Support Associate

This role supports the sales organization by maintaining data health, performing research, and managing sales tools. It involves front-line support, data updates, user administration, and creating research reports. The role also requires writing SQL queries, creating dashboards, and analyzing code segments, with a focus on sales operations and data-driven decision-making.

What you'd actually do

  1. Data maintenance and cleanup initiatives such as Account Hierarchy, merging unnecessary accounts, contact movement and contact merging, cloud org movement etc
  2. Front-line/Tier-1 Support for Sales via the Sales Operations Case Queue, including initial triage of new Cases, fixing/resolving/responding to Cases as knowledge & experience allows, and raising cases to Salesforce.com Administrators or other teams like Deal Desk where appropriate
  3. Serve as an initial point of escalation from other Sales Support functions (Deal Desk, Commissions, Support Operations) where they need assistance from SalesOps
  4. Data updates, such as Account/Territory Assignments
  5. User Administration e.g. activating new users and deactivating departing users in sales tools

  • Salesforce Knowhow
