This role is for a Salesforce Administrator II at Brex, focusing on configuring, maintaining, and scaling the Salesforce ecosystem for Sales, Support, and Operations teams. The role involves building scalable solutions, automating complex processes, and ensuring data quality within the Salesforce platform. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day administration, owning configuration tasks end-to-end, building automation logic, participating in the SDLC, and tuning existing configurations. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with proficiency in declarative development, security models, and DevOps pipelines.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Finance) to configure and implement new Salesforce features and enhancements.
  2. Manage day-to-day administration, including user management, roles, profiles, sharing rules, and security controls.
  3. Own configuration tasks end-to-end, from understanding the user need to testing and deployment.
  4. Build and maintain complex Flows and automation logic, ensuring they are performant and scalable.
  5. Participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by managing deployments, validating metadata changes, and maintaining documentation.

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce declarative development (Flows, Object Manager, Validation Rules) and security models.
  • Experience deploying changes through Salesforce DevOps pipelines.
  • A high bar for configuration standards, best practices, naming conventions, and documentation.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of SOQL and Salesforce's data model.
  • Solid grasp of Salesforce's Governor Limits.

Nice to have

  • Experience with declarative integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado) or version control (Git).
  • Basic understanding of Apex (ability to read/debug code) and programmatic solutions available.
  • Experience working within a high-growth technology or financial services company.
  • Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, etc.
