Salesforce Software Engineer

Okta Okta · Enterprise · Poland · Remote · BT Go To Market Technology-173

Software Engineer role within the Technology Data and Intelligence (TDI) team at Okta, focused on building secure, scalable systems to boost internal efficiency. The role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions on the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, CPQ), ensuring system reliability through automated testing and CI/CD, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. While the company discusses AI's potential, the core responsibilities are centered around Salesforce development and business solutions, not direct AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Translate user stories and business requirements into well-designed, scalable, and secure technical solutions. You will primarily leverage the Salesforce platform, focusing on the Sales Cloud and CPQ domains.
  2. Participate actively in Pull Request (PR) reviews to maintain overall code quality and consistency. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, analysts, and other engineers, to drive projects from concept to production.
  3. Write comprehensive unit tests for all new logic to ensure high code coverage, and contribute to the growth of our automated test regression suite.
  4. Assist with the deployment cycle, which includes documenting changes, performing validation, and resolving environment-specific issues.
