Sanctions Compliance Analyst - Hybrid

This role focuses on strengthening GEICO's sanctions compliance program by supporting end-to-end sanctions screening, reporting, and issue resolution. The analyst will evaluate processes, identify compliance gaps, recommend enhancements, and ensure alignment with state and federal requirements. They will also advise on compliance implications and support interactions with regulatory stakeholders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Reviews new, revised, and pending sanctions notices, determines their applicability to GEICO, and recommends changes needed to support compliance.
  2. Evaluates processes, procedures, systems, and communications to identify compliance gaps and recommends enhancements to strengthen sanctions controls.
  3. Presents investigative findings, risk insights, and recommendations to management.
  4. Implements and monitors changes to processes, procedures, sanctions screening systems, and communications, and re-evaluates outcomes to confirm risks have been mitigated.
  5. Advises on the sanctions compliance implications of proposed processes, procedures, and business activities.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work effectively under tight timelines
  • Ability to work across the compliance organization and collaborate with business stakeholders throughout the company
