Sap Bods/data Conversion Consultant

This role focuses on SAP data conversion and migration activities, including data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, and defect tracking. The consultant will use SAP BODS and support SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit to move data from legacy systems to SAP target systems. Responsibilities include partnering with teams to document requirements, supporting workshops, assisting with testing, and contributing to go-live and hypercare support.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support SAP data conversion and migration activities, including data collection, extraction, template preparation, mapping, transformation, validation, and defect tracking across the implementation lifecycle.
  2. Perform data profiling, cleansing, standardization, de-duplication, reconciliation, and issue analysis for master and transactional data to improve quality and reduce conversion risk.
  3. Use SAP BODS and support SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit or similar load tools and processes to prepare and move data from legacy environments into SAP target systems.
  4. Partner with functional and technical teams to document data requirements, business rules, assumptions, risks, issues, and decisions, and help maintain alignment across workstreams.
  5. Support workshop preparation and follow-up activities, including meeting materials, notes, action tracking, and coordination of open items related to design, migration, and deployment.
