This role focuses on leveraging advanced data analysis and AI tools, including agentic AI systems, to detect and prevent fraud and abuse across Amazon's e-commerce platforms. The specialist will manage critical projects, analyze complex datasets, identify risks and gaps in existing mechanisms, and develop scalable solutions to endemic problems. The role requires strong analytical skills in SQL and Python, experience with AI tools, and the ability to manage projects from identification to solution scaling.

What you'd actually do

  1. Complete risk analyses and manipulate data in complex data sets (SQL, Python, R etc.)
  2. Use high-level judgment to inform our most complex enforcement decisions
  3. Identify gaps and risks in Amazon's current mechanisms and policies and recommend solutions to product/policy owning teams.
  4. Use data and/or technical skills to discover new ways to scale deep dive signals resulting in the identification of many bad actors and sizing the issue
  5. Owning the complete life cycle of one or more complex problems - from identification through scaling the solutions
