Develop and maintain production schedules for manufacturing operations, coordinating daily and long-range activities to align with production plans, material availability, and capacity constraints. Partner with Operations, Supply Management, and Engineering to resolve constraints and manage schedule changes, priorities, and recovery plans in response to disruptions. Support part transitions, engineering changes, and build plan adjustments. Communicate schedule status, risks, and recovery actions to stakeholders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and maintain production schedules to support manufacturing operations
  2. Coordinate daily and long-range scheduling activities to ensure alignment with production plans, material availability, and capacity constraints
  3. Partner with Operations, Supply Management, and Engineering teams to resolve constraints and maintain schedule adherence
  4. Manage schedule changes, priorities, and recovery plans in response to demand or supply disruptions
  5. Support part transitions, engineering changes, and build plan adjustments to ensure smooth execution

Skills

Required

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for scheduling, tracking, and reporting
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP

Nice to have

  • Experience in production control, scheduling, supply management, or manufacturing operations
  • Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) concepts and scheduling tools
  • Ability to analyze data trends and translate insights into actionable plans
  • Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
