SDK Support Engineer for PICO's AR/VR brand, focusing on B2B projects. Responsibilities include troubleshooting SDK issues, gathering customer requirements, managing open-source demo libraries, and creating technical documentation. What you'd actually do

  1. Work with multiple teams within the organization including sales, TPM, and SDK teams to ensure key deliverables of PICO B2B projects are met.
  2. Take ownership of SDK-related questions and issues, including troubleshooting, verification of root cause, reproducibility of the issue, reporting of the issue with engineering if necessary, and issue resolution
  3. Collect various B2B customer requirements and collate results to share with the Product teams
  4. Develop strong cross-functional relationships with B2B customers, in order to implement optimal integrity solutions
  5. Maintain and update open-source demo libraries on GitHub and other platforms.

Skills

Required

  • SDK development (Unity, Unreal Engine or native platforms)
  • mobile app/game optimization
  • understanding of hardware and software constraints and related components
  • software project management or software technical support
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years experience working as a SDK engineer or technical support role for consumer electronics or related industries

Nice to have

  • customer-facing role within the information technology industry
  • document and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • VR/AR/MR and Android development experience
  • OpenXR knowledge and understanding
