Cursor Cursor · Coding AI · San Francisco, CA · Sales

Sales Development Representative Intern role at Cursor, an AI coding company. The internship focuses on learning outbound sales fundamentals, working with commercial accounts, and contributing to go-to-market systems. Responsibilities include prospecting, account research, customer conversations, event support, and GTM projects. The role requires strong communication, self-starter attitude, resilience, and organization. Prior sales or customer-facing experience is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Learn the fundamentals of outbound prospecting: cold calling, email writing, LinkedIn outreach, and multi-channel sequencing
  2. Research target accounts and map stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Leadership to identify the right entry points
  3. Work live commercial accounts and conduct real discovery conversations with prospects
  4. Support and follow up on Cursor events (including the Compile Cursor Event in June)
  5. Contribute to GTM systems engineering projects, including revamping sequences and enriching event lists
