Northrop Grumman is seeking a Facilities Planning Manager 2 in Roy, UT. This role leads a team of facility planners, overseeing the planning, integration, and execution of site operations facilities overhead and capital-funded projects. Responsibilities include developing business plans, managing budgets, supporting audits, proposing sustainability objectives, maintaining operational readiness, and driving new capabilities for manufacturing, test, and lab facilities. The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or a Master's with 6 years, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Will lead a diverse team of Facility Planners within the SDS Facility Operations and Planning Function.
  2. Leads the overall planning, integration, monitoring, reporting, execution, and closure of Site Operations Facilities Overhead and Capital-funded projects.
  3. Develops, monitors, and status’ the preparation of business plans, statements of work (SOWs), purchase orders (POs), memorandum of agreements (MOAs), interdivisional work orders (IWOs), operating budgets, capital projects, and Facilities overhead budgets.
  4. Supports Business Site Review, AS9100D, DCMA/DCAA, and other internal audits as needed.
  5. Proposes and implements corporate sustainability objectives.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience; Master's degree and 6 years of related experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to attain Special Program Access.
  • Experience managing large-scale and diverse portfolio of investments.
  • Experience managing project budgets and preparing requests, making recommendations, and tracking expenditures and performance against plan.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing people is preferred.
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
  • Prior site lead experience on an ICBM program.
  • Experience standing up facilities and new organizations.
  • Experience managing and forecasting capital needs and provides input to the LRSP and AOP.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to interact with all Northrop Grumman leadership and Government stakeholders.
