Section Manager Finance - Marketing Ops

This role is a Section Manager in Finance, focusing on Marketing Operations at AMD. The responsibilities include managing accounting activities, contract review, SOX compliance, financial reporting, and partnering with Sales and Marketing. What you'd actually do

  1. Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to support the execution and governance of marketing activities and initiatives.
  2. Provide operational and strategic support by identifying opportunities to enhance marketing proof validation and process effectiveness
  3. Lead stakeholder engagement through recurring governance and operational review meetings to prioritize deliverables, address escalations, and drive execution.
  4. Prepare and present operational updates, budget tracking, expense monitoring, forecasts, and key performance metrics to leadership teams.
  5. Oversee tracking and forecasting processes related to marketing proof identification and accrual management to support financial planning and business visibility.

Skills

Required

  • Finance and/or accounting professional experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting/Financial systems
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with international teams
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline
