This role is for a Security Consultant at Microsoft Federal, focusing on the design, implementation, and operationalization of cybersecurity solutions within classified or mission-sensitive federal environments, particularly those aligned with Zero Trust principles. The role requires expertise in Microsoft Security solutions and involves technical delivery, customer engagement, and collaboration with various stakeholders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead &/or participate in meetings with customers/partners to understand business needs and technology strategies to map customer/partner requirements to the adoption and optimization of Microsoft technology solutions.
  2. Implement solutions and provide leadership on workstreams across domains while adhering to Industry Solutions processes.
  3. Deliver security solutions following delivery practices, considering cost implications, and engaging in conversations with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Customer Service and Support, Project Manager, Solution Architect, Product Group) as needed.
  4. Work with account team to ensure One Microsoft approach.
  5. Share lessons learned with workgroup and consultant community.
