Security Coordinator - Level 3 or Level 4

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Security Coordinator (Level 3 or 4) in Dulles, VA, to provide program security and personnel security support. This role involves processing documentation for SAP and SCI nominations, managing security databases, preparing Program Access Request (PAR) packages, and ensuring compliance with government and corporate security policies. The position requires an active Top Secret security clearance and familiarity with various security manuals and regulations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide program security and personnel security (PERSEC) support to include but not limited to review and process required documentation in support of the SAP and SCI nomination processes; prepare and administer program indoctrination and debriefings; access, review and submit clearance/access information using DISS and JADE, and other information systems; maintain PERSEC databases in accordance with customer tracking requirements; maintain and operate document control register/database; process and manage incoming and outgoing visit authorizations and visitor control
  2. Generate and/or review Program Access Request (PAR) packages; ensure all required information is provided, including currency of information, completeness of forms, and inclusion of required signatures. Generate Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA), provide to briefer/debriefer, and/or execute briefs/debriefs on behalf of the government security team
  3. Familiarization with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals (DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4), Sensitive Compartmented Information Administrative Manuals (DoD Manual 5105.21 Volumes 1-3), Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), IC Technical Specification (IC Tech Spec) for ICD/ICS 705, the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other applicable security regulations and requirements
  4. Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures
  5. Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254 and Issue subcontract DD254s

Skills

Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or experience (Level 3) or 6 years additional education and/or experience (Level 4)
  • Active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain SCI and Program approval/access
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated, relevant security experience with industrial security programs within the Intelligence Community
