What you'd actually do

  1. play a crucial role in ensuring that large language models and applications across Amazon are designed and executed with the highest security standards to maintain customer trust.
  2. tackle a diverse array of security challenges, ranging from novel threats in Generative AI to selecting and implementing scalable and secure features such as key management solutions and encrypted storage.
  3. collaborate with applied scientists, software engineers, security engineers, as well as internal partners and external researchers to develop innovative technologies to solve some of our hardest security problems, and build paved path solutions that builder teams can adopt while building Generative AI models and applications.

Skills

Required

  • programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object oriented language
  • scripting, programming, and security code review in a common programming language
  • troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks using command line tools
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
