Security Operator (evening Shift)

This role involves gathering information from open sources, managing incident reports, handling high-stress situations, collaborating with security and law enforcement, operating surveillance systems, and completing background investigations. It requires availability for 24/7 operations and experience in security or law enforcement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Gather information from multiple open-source locations, including various media outlets, government agencies and subscription services
  2. Create, review and edit various incident management reports to be disseminated to leadership
  3. Calmly and effectively handle high-stress situations, such as crisis management incidents and emergency communications
  4. Collaborate with Contracted Security and law enforcement partners by assisting with run sheets, badges, radios, briefings, and their initial investigations (such as surveillance findings), manage dispatch console and dispatch accordingly using proper radio etiquette
  5. Complete thorough camera surveillance investigations

Skills

Required

  • Availability to work 24/7 including weekends and holidays
  • 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related experience
  • Experience operating video surveillance systems
  • Proficiency in multi-tasking multiple programs simultaneously
  • Basic de-escalation skills to provide high-level client service

Nice to have

  • 4 years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related experience
  • Experience dispatching security and law enforcement entities
