Microsoft is seeking a Security Solution Specialist for the Public Sector (Healthcare) in Tokyo. This role involves achieving sales targets, developing sales strategies for Microsoft Security solutions (primarily Microsoft 365 and Azure Security), building customer relationships, identifying cybersecurity needs, and proposing optimal solutions. The specialist will act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, provide feedback to the product team, and lead complex transformational opportunities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Achieve and exceed annual sales targets.
  2. Manage a deal team to develop and execute sales strategies for Microsoft Security solutions within assigned territories.
  3. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  4. Understand customer business needs and objectives to align Microsoft Security solutions accordingly.
  5. Act as a liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions.

Skills

Required

  • 2-6+ years of technology related sales or business development experience, particularly cloud computing and management; experience working within a technical sales environment.
  • Ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies and expertise in selling to senior business decision makers by aligning & reinforcing the value of the solution to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria.
  • Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs
  • Exhibits outstanding operational excellence - including monthly/quarterly forecasting, building healthy pipeline, CRM entry and hygiene, opportunity management and virtual team orchestration
  • Language fluency in Japanese

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required 4-year degree preferred. Additional training in sales, business or marketing preferred.
