What you'd actually do

  1. Provide on-site support to the manufacturing team, assisting with security and fire operations for the plant, including staffing requirements, access control, CCTV monitoring, fire inspections, and emergency support.
  2. Identify and escalate physical security gaps through proactive security initiatives.
  3. Assist with investigations, escalating to the Supervisor and/or Regional Security Manager and Global Investigations, as appropriate.
  4. Assist in overseeing day-to-day security operations, including contract security personnel. Identify and escalate performance issues.
  5. Assist with special projects and security initiatives, including GAO audits, AON fire inspection audits, daily plant walks, etc.

Skills

Required

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in law enforcement, military, or security
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • High level of interpersonal skills (soft skills)
  • Ability to multitask, strong problem-solving, and conflict management skills
  • Available to work 24x7, 365 days a year
  • Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Must possess a Concealed Pistol License (CPL/LEOSA) AND demonstrate firearm proficiency

Nice to have

  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Knowledge of Global Security, site security, and fire operations
  • Possess a working knowledge of emergency response levels
  • Ability to use data and metrics to track security incidents and justify security spend or resource allocation
