What you'd actually do

  1. Supervise security operations for Ford Energy, including staffing requirements, access control, CCTV monitoring, investigations, and emergency support.
  2. Supervise a team of direct and matrix reports.
  3. Oversee day-to-day security operations, including contract security personnel. Enforce the Service Level Agreement with the provider, including identifying and escalating performance issues.
  4. Enforce the security manual, bulletins, and protocols to ensure compliance.
  5. Assist with risk assessments of sites to determine if the operational model is adequate for site integrity.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in law enforcement or military
  • 4 years’ experience leading and developing teams
  • Highly motivated, hands-on, self-starter with ability to think creatively and operate in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills (soft skills)
  • Ability to multitask, strong problem-solving, and conflict management skills

  • This is an armed role. Candidate must possess a Concealed Pistol License (CPL/LEOSA) or obtain one within 30 days, AND demonstrate firearms proficiency as a condition of hire.

Nice to have

  • 10 years’ experience in law enforcement or military
  • Seven (7) years supervisory experience
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Knowledge of Global Security and site security operations
  • Possess a working knowledge of emergency response levels
