Semiconductor Device Modeling Engineer

Intel Intel · Semiconductors · Oregon, Hillsboro, United States +1

Intel is seeking a Semiconductor Device Modeling Engineer to support compact modeling activities for new technologies. The role involves hands-on experience with transistor modeling, extraction tools, simulators, IV/CV fitting, and Python scripting. Experience with machine learning algorithms for data analysis and model development is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support compact modeling activities for Intel's new technologies.
  2. Perform hands-on experience with BSIM or other compact models for transistor modeling at advanced nodes (e.g., FinFET, GAA).
  3. Utilize extraction tools (e.g., ICCAP, MBP) and commercial simulators such as HSPICE, Spectre, etc.
  4. Perform IV/CV fitting, model retargeting, and corner/statistical variation modeling.
  5. Develop LLE models for FinFET or GAAFET technologies.
  6. Use Python scripting for automation and documentation.
