What you'd actually do

  1. Develop a strong understanding of assigned end markets, leading-edge logic process nodes, advanced packaging technologies, and key IPs.
  2. Develop and maintain bottom-up wafer demand models of assigned end markets and gain deep insight into the model's key drivers (underlying units, competitive dynamics, node cadence, D0s, chip architectures, die/tile sizes, etc.).
  3. Deliver comprehensive analyses of assigned markets (e.g. AI accelerator, discrete GPU, mobile application, etc.), along with regular updates on the competitive dynamics within the advanced node foundry market.
  4. Author insightful white papers on relevant topics, with clear implications and strategic recommendations for Intel Foundry.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of work experience in the semiconductor industry and/or semiconductor supply chain (equipment, gas, chemicals).
  • Experience in leading or managing a group of analysts
  • Post graduate degree in business (e.g. MBA), Engineering (e.g., EE, Computer Science), or Science (e.g., Physics, Mathematics, Statistics).
  • Experience working with external parties (e.g., industry analysts, consultants).
  • Well organized, with project management and planning skills.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Words, and Power BI skills.

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of work experience in the semiconductor foundry market, with a solid understanding of leading-edge process nodes and advanced packaging technologies.
  • 3+ years of work experience as a market intelligence or research analyst.
