Senior Account Executive, Amazon Currency Converter

This role is for a Senior Account Executive focused on driving adoption of Amazon's Currency Converter product among selling partners. It involves sales pipeline management, project ownership, and interfacing with executive-level contacts to facilitate sales. The role requires building relationships, creating proposals, and understanding market segments to drive growth. While the product uses ML-enabled content, the role itself is sales-focused.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with a sense of urgency to drive and deliver sales goals while maintaining a high quality of work.
  2. Operate with a continuous motor to identify, recruit and motivate potential Selling Partners to expand globally.
  3. Drive business reviews with sellers and perform analysis to understand sales trends and drivers and develop recommendations on how to grow the business.
  4. Develop a thorough understanding of the specific market segments, seasonality and global business trends/events
  5. Implement account management best practices and SOPs into the business development framework.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 5+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of inside sales experience
  • Knowledge of procurement and source to pay methods at small and medium businesses
  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent
