Senior Account Executive - Customer Base

Workday is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive add-on business and renewals within a portfolio of strategic named accounts in Singapore. This role involves developing customer relationships, performing account planning, and coordinating with internal teams to expand Workday's footprint.

What you'd actually do

  1. Be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers with a focus on upselling via deal management
  2. Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
  3. Drive strategic add-on and renewal business of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise customers
  4. Coordinate cross functionally with Workday’s internal teams (pre-sales, digital, value & bid-management, marketing, technical and sales support)

Skills

Required

  • SaaS/Cloud based ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning / or Analytics solutions sales
  • Negotiating deals with C-Suite Executives
  • Building relationships with existing customers for add-on or incremental business
  • Developing long-term account strategies with existing customers

Nice to have

  • Managing longer deal cycles beyond 6 months
  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape
  • Leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What the JD emphasized

  • 4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning / or Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position.
