Senior Account Executive Enterprise - Financial Services

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Account Executive for their Financial Services segment in Italy. The role involves engaging with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire Salesforce Customer 360 platform, building trusted relationships, and helping customers realize value from their investments. Responsibilities include developing customer relationships, driving account strategy, leading the sales process, and territory research. Requires 5-10 years of technology sales experience in Software or Business Applications within the Financial Services segment, with a strong track record of revenue achievement and net new business sales.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts within the Financial Services Segment
  2. Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned with customer business objectives
  3. Lead the end-to-end sales process through the engagement of appropriate resources such as Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, Partners, etc.
  4. Territory identification and research, to formalize a go-to-market territory strategy and create a qualified target account list within 30 days.
  5. Share Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers
  6. Drive growth within an existing assigned account

Skills

Required

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
  • A strong technology sales experience (5 to 10 years preferably in Software or in Business Applications) selling to Financial Services segment
  • Solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement in the Italian market.
  • Successful history of net new business sales.
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
  • A background in inbound and outbound prospecting and closing of new business
  • Proficient in Italian and English
