Senior Account Executive, Growth Stage

Vanta is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive sales for their trust management platform, focusing on customer acquisition and sales cycle ownership within the SMB and Mid-Market segments. The role involves identifying business verticals, managing the sales pipeline, and communicating Vanta's value proposition to prospects. While not directly building AI, the role encourages using AI tools to enhance performance and requires understanding Vanta's software, which operates in the security and compliance domain.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify high-potential business verticals to develop and execute outbound strategies to engage them with Vanta
  2. Turn our inbound demand into closed-new business and happy Vanta customers
  3. Manage our sales pipeline, improving and maturing our sales process and playbook
  4. Define and communicate the specific benefits of Vanta appropriate for each customer, including making sales materials and demos
  5. Collect insights from prospects for our product development process

Required

  • Full-cycle closing and quota-carrying experience (4+ years)
  • Pipeline generation and hunting/cold calling
  • B2B SaaS sales experience (SMB/Mid-Market)
  • Customer empathy and retention
  • Technical competency with SaaS products
