Senior Account Executive, Tableau, Aerospace/federal Systems Integrators

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Account Executive for their Tableau division, focusing on the Aerospace & Federal Systems Integrators space. The role involves selling the Tableau platform to existing and new enterprise clients, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales opportunities to meet quotas. The position requires extensive experience in enterprise software sales and account management, with a preference for experience in analytics or business intelligence.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts
  2. Assist with the development and execution of overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives
  3. Coordinate internal resources including product support, customer success, and sales engineering to meet customer business needs
  4. Assist with account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with other sales resources (Salesforce Core AE’s, Prime AE’s, Cloud AE’s, etc.) to ensure strategic alignment
  5. Manage complex sales-cycles and present to C-level executives the value proposition of Tableau platform

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales and account management experience
  • Experience selling to large enterprise Aerospace & Federal Systems Integrator accounts
  • Ability to work within a team of various partners in a matrixed environment
  • Strong execution focus and sense of urgency
  • Business curiosity and technical ability to address customer data challenges
  • Solution selling mentality
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience

Nice to have

  • Experience selling in the software industry or technical sales experience (ex: Saas)
  • Experience with analytics, data, databases, predictive modeling, or business intelligence
