Figma is seeking a Senior Account Executive for the UK Government sector to build and scale their presence within government organizations. This role focuses on developing a new strategic segment, requiring experienced sales professionals with deep domain expertise and strong executive relationships. The position involves owning and building the government pipeline, creating and executing a Go-To-Market strategy, nurturing senior stakeholder relationships, and navigating complex sales cycles including compliance and procurement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and build Figma’s Government (Public Sector) pipeline and book of business, focused on establishing initial traction and long-term growth
  2. Create and execute a GTM strategy for Government accounts, identifying priority agencies and opportunities
  3. Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across Government organisations
  4. Apply discovery-led, value-based selling to align Figma’s platform with complex public sector needs and procurement processes
  5. Develop and execute strategic account plans, driving multi-threaded engagement across departments and functions

Skills

Required

  • Significant experience selling into Government / Public Sector accounts
  • A proven track record of building new business in greenfield or early-stage markets
  • Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles (6+ months) with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong ability to engage and influence executive-level buyers
  • Consistent performance in pipeline generation and net new business development
