NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Account Manager to manage and expand relationships with Canadian higher education and research institutions. The role involves driving adoption of NVIDIA's AI and HPC platforms, managing sales cycles, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to achieve revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling complex solutions to named accounts, preferably in the higher education or research sector, with a strong background in business development for HPC and AI infrastructure.

What you'd actually do

  1. Managing all facets of demand generation, sales and collaborative selling, forecasting, and enablement for higher education and research accounts.
  2. Serving as the main point of contact for key Canadian universities, research institutes, and national research programs, developing them into long-term strategic partners.
  3. Coordinating with OEMs, resellers, ISVs, and channel partners to build and implement go-to-market plans that support NVIDIA adoption in HER.
  4. Interacting proficiently with involved individuals across all tiers, from senior executives and research leaders to procurement teams, engineers, and developers.
  5. Promoting NVIDIA platforms and solutions and providing structured feedback on customer requirements to help build product and solution strategy.

Skills

Required

  • BA degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years’ experience selling complex solutions to senior executives at named accounts, ideally in higher education, research, or public sector
  • Established record of increasing revenue and enlarging market share among major research-centered or government-funded customers
  • Direct experience in business development and sales for systems, software, or related HPC and AI infrastructure
  • Demonstrated thought leadership, critical thinking, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functionally
  • Consistent record of building partnerships, developing solutions and programs, and crafting strong business relationships at all levels

  • An MBA or relevant graduate degree
  • Experience operating within complex university, research, or funding ecosystems, balancing short-term opportunities with long-term strategic goals
  • Confident executive bearing, elegance, and political awareness, demonstrated by a successful background in boosting revenue for innovative, technology-based solutions
  • Proven ability to generate and handle pipeline on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Outstanding ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, compelling ways and to lead within a matrixed team environment
