Senior Account Solution Engineer - Informatica

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Account Solution Engineer with experience in Pre-Sales/Technical sales or Consulting in Data Management (Data Integration, Data Quality, MDM, or Data Governance) to join their team in Brazil. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, customers, and partners to formulate technical account plans and lead sales engagements. The candidate will educate customers on the Informatica value proposition, engage in architectural discussions, and ensure optimized solutions for cloud deployment. Responsibilities include contributing to pipeline generation through workshops, social media, content creation, and marketing events, and serving as a feedback channel to product management. The role also supports the Customer Success team through collaboration and customer nurture activities.

What you'd actually do

  1. The Solution Engineer will function as the main technical contact for the customer and will report into specific theaters, areas, or regions.
  2. Perform all activities leading up to the delivery of a customer demo with no assistance including discovery, technical qualification/fit, customer presentations, demos, and related customer facing communication
  3. Create and deliver customized demos
  4. Conduct technical workshops with customers
  5. Lead RFP responses and POC’s

Skills

Required

  • Expert level skills for Data Management product capabilities in respective area of focus
  • Advanced knowledge of security for cloud computing
  • Ability to engage Managers/Director customer personas
  • Credibility with data engineers, data scientists, and other technical personas
  • Expert storytelling and presentation skills across multiple horizontal and vertically specific use cases
  • Advanced technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, data warehousing, database, and/or business intelligence software concepts and products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to execute on a strategic technical account plan
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in data integration, master data management, or data governance
  • 5+ years of presales/technical sales or consulting experience
  • Ability to read, speak and understand Portuguese and English fluently.

  • Previous experience with Informatica Products is a differentiator.
  • Technical knowledge of Gen AI/Agentic AI use cases is a differentiator.
  • Certification on at least 1 cloud ecosystem and 1 data related cloud technology
  • Spanish is a differentiator.
