This role is for a Senior Account Specialist in Pharmaceutical Sales for Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division, focusing on Oncology/Hematology. The primary responsibilities include supporting sales goals, evaluating customer and market data, drafting sales reports, and developing market knowledge. The role requires a degree in a medical-related field, 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, and marketing experience in specific therapeutic areas. Travel is also required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supports the attainment of established sales goals, including market share objectives.
  2. Applies functional knowledge of sales process, product portfolio and customers to improve sales outcomes.
  3. Evaluates basic customer, procedural and marketplace data with other sales, clinical, marketing and strategic account teams to improve on solutions/service levels.
  4. Drafts sales reports and documents as the need arises.
  5. Develops basic knowledge of the market in order to support the needs of the Oncology/Hematology sales team.

Skills

Required

  • Degree in a medical-related field
  • 2+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • experience managing medical centers preferred
  • Marketing experience in Urology / Oncology / Surgery markets
