We are looking for an exceptional Senior Accountant to help Anduril prepare for a future potential IPO, support an ERP transition, integrate acquired businesses, and drive operational excellence.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage the entire payroll reconciliation process and accurately record all payroll and fringe related accruals at period end.
- Monitor the HRIS platform to ensure proper Chart of Accounts and department mapping alignment.
- Collaborate with HR to track high volumes of contingent employee bonuses and calculate monthly amortization.
- Accrue for and reconcile Travel and Expense (T&E) transactions across multiple entities.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and procedures related to the payroll accounting process.
- Prepare footnotes, disclosures, and supporting schedules to support financial reporting.
- Prepare financial reconciliations timely and be able to research and resolve variances as needed.
- Prepare analytical reviews of employee compensation and T&E expenses to provide color and commentary to monthly, quarterly, and annual financials.
- Help implement new systems or improve efficiencies with current systems to support continued company and team growth.
- Contribute to the control environment by establishing, improving, and maintaining operational processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Demonstrated experience payroll reconciliations, payroll accruals, and travel and expense tracking (experience with Ramp and Rippling preferred).
- Highly detail oriented with strong experience in Excel, ERP systems, and US GAAP.
- CPA (active or inactive) and/or MBA preferred.
- Prior experience in companies that are tech or advanced manufacturing preferred.
- Healthy mix of technical accounting and operational accounting preferred.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high growth organization.
- Able to get hands dirty to drive organizational change while also maintaining an ability to manage up against strategic priorities/reporting.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
US Salary Range
$98,000—$130,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
