**About the Role: **
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our General Ledger team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in core accounting functions and will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic finance environment and contribute meaningfully to month-end close cycles and audit processes.
Shift : 1 PM IST to 10 PM IST
Work Mode : Hybrid - 3 days in office and 2 days work from home
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries and reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts
- Execute month-end close activities accurately and within defined timelines, including variance analyses
- Maintain and reconcile Balance Sheet schedules covering Fixed Assets, Current Assets, and Current Liabilities
- Manage the Fixed Assets accounting lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and retirements
- Handle Inter-Company Accounting transactions and ensure accurate cross-entity reporting
- Prepare accruals, payroll journal entries, and amortization schedules for prepaid expenses
- Perform Bank Reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain Lease Accounting records in compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audit processes
- Generate MIS reports and ad hoc financial schedules as required by management
What You Bring:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory qualification
- 2–3 years of post-qualification experience in General Ledger or Core Accounting functions
- Solid foundation in accounting principles and policies, with demonstrated working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS frameworks
- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA • Proficiency in preparing MIS reports and financial schedules
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, Balance Sheet items, and Income Statement line items
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Self-driven, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities under deadlines
- High level of integrity, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
