Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting & Equity role responsible for accounting, reporting, and disclosures related to stock-based compensation (SBC) and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). This role involves monthly close activities, journal entries, variance analysis, general ledger reconciliations, preparing disclosures for SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, Proxy), interfacing with external auditors, assisting with SOX compliance, and researching technical accounting issues related to equity.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform stock-based compensation accounting and reporting activities for the close to report process every month, including preparing and posting journal entries and variance analysis related to SBC and ESPP.
  2. Prepare general ledger account reconciliations for equity related accounts.
  3. Prepare SBC related disclosures included in Forms 10-K and 10-Q filings.
  4. Prepare equity related reporting package for management.
  5. Interface with external auditors on equity/SBC matters for quarterly reviews and annual audit.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years of work experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of public company financial statement preparation
  • Technical knowledge of accounting procedures
  • US GAAP
  • SEC Regulations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple concurrent projects under pressure and within deadlines
