Senior Accounting Manager role focused on owning global inventory accounting and COGS, partnering cross-functionally, leading finance transformations, and strengthening internal controls. Requires deep U.S. GAAP expertise, CPA, and experience with SOX compliance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own inventory accounting and COGS globally, including month-end close, reconciliations, variance analysis, reporting, and audit support.
  2. Own judgment-based inventory estimates, including excess & obsolete (E&O) and warranty reserves, including methodology design, assumptions, governance, documentation, and final review/sign-off in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  3. Serve as the final decision-maker for inventory accounting policy, methodologies, and judgment-based estimates, ensuring consistent application and governance across the organization.
  4. Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Product, FP&A, and Finance Systems to align financial outcomes with operational realities and inform business decisions.
  5. Lead COGS and gross margin analysis, translating financial results into clear insights and actions for leadership and stakeholders.
