What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct and support failure analysis investigations on electronic, electro-mechanical components and PWB assemblies
  2. Support quality evaluations and investigations on field, production and NPI products
  3. Use of curve tracer, oscilloscope, LCR meter, micro probe station, and general-purpose electronic component test equipment for analysis and characterization
  4. Perform de-potting, cross-sectioning, electrical testing on components and assemblies to find root cause of failure/issue
  5. Perform failure analysis on components to isolate and identify cause of failure/issue

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Metallurgy, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or related field of study
  • Minimum of 7 years of electronics hardware engineering, analysis and quality experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of Hands-on experience in testing, etching, de-potting and operating analytical instruments
  • Performed failure analysis, corrosion analysis to identify root cause of failure

Nice to have
