Senior AI Applications Engineer - Finance

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Santa Clara, CA

Senior AI Applications Engineer for NVIDIA's Finance team, focusing on building and scaling AI-powered interfaces and applications for non-technical finance employees. The role involves end-to-end delivery, integrating AI tools, securing services, and translating prototypes into production-ready software.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own end-to-end delivery of key AI-powered finance applications, from concept and architecture through implementation, rollout, and ongoing improvements.
  2. Design and build intuitive UIs and abstraction layers that wrap existing business and developer tools, enabling non-technical employees to interact safely with AI agents and services.
  3. Integrate and secure AI tools, microservices, and MCPs ensuring robust authentication, authorization, and data governance.
  4. Translate prototypes and desktop applications created by finance citizen-developers (via low-code tools and AI code generation) into secure, scalable, maintainable software with proper testing, observability, and documentation.
  5. Identify patterns in diverse finance workflows that may indicate missing capabilities in our technical stack. Evaluate internal and third-party capabilities to fill these gaps, keeping NVIDIA finance on the cutting edge.
