Senior AI Product Designer

Microsoft Microsoft · Big Tech · Redmond, WA +1 · Product Design

This role is for a Senior AI Product Designer who will shape enterprise AI agents from the ground up. The designer will work directly with customers to understand their challenges and design AI-powered solutions, focusing on creating consumer-grade quality in enterprise workflows. The role involves rapid prototyping, influencing product strategy, and building design systems. While the role uses AI tools and designs AI-powered products, the core craft is product design, not AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Co-create with customers — Engage deeply with customers to uncover their most pressing challenges and design AI-powered solutions that drive measurable business impact.
  2. Elevate the craft — design visually compelling, modern interfaces that bring consumer-grade quality to enterprise workflows.
  3. Prototype and move fast — take ideas from whiteboard sketch to functional prototype in days, not weeks.
  4. Inspire product direction — influence strategy and vision through bold storytelling, immersive demos, and provocative design explorations.
  5. Build design systems — evolve shared patterns, frameworks, and visual systems that scale across multiple customers.
