This role is a solution sales specialist focused on driving AI-powered business transformation for enterprise clients, particularly using Microsoft 365 Copilot and related AI solutions. The specialist will lead consultative sales engagements, collaborate with partners, and manage the end-to-end sales process from pipeline creation to closing, aiming to increase customer productivity and competitiveness.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the charge in transforming how organizations adopt and scale AI-powered productivity across AI Workforce solutions (M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Copilot Chat, Agents, ME3, ME5, Frontline Worker) and build strategies with customers, collaborating across different groups inside the Customer environment to successfully enable customers to drive and adopt AI transformation.
  2. Lead consultative customer conversations and collaborate on the planning, orchestration and execution of end-to-end AI Workforce solutions opportunities with internal stakeholders and partners to cross-sell and up-sell.
  3. Collaborates with partners and resources and leverages customer insights or industry knowledge; contributes to exploring business and emerging opportunities to optimize the portfolio and support customer innovation.
  4. Manages the end-to-end business of the assigned territory; conducts forecasting for accounts and develops a portfolio and territory plan to drive intentional selling aligned with strategic priorities.
  5. Implements strategies to accelerate the closing of deals; contributes input on strategies to drive and close prioritized opportunities; coaches less experienced team members in deal plan execution; implements close plans (e.g., how to map timeline, engage the customer, get customer buy in and commitment) to de-risk and drive predictable deal closure.

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of solution sales or consultative selling experience in IT or technology
  • Ability to understand customer business challenges and propose appropriate solutions (including stakeholder management with both executive and IT leaders)
  • Basic understanding of cloud and AI (e.g., Microsoft 365, Copilot, etc.)
  • Experience driving the sales process from pipeline creation to closing
  • Ability to provide customer value through collaboration with partners
  • Native level Japanese proficiency
