Senior Analyst- Account to Report

This role is within the Finance and Accounting team, responsible for the complete and accurate accounting for Balance Sheet and Income Statement processes. Key responsibilities include creating sales orders, purchase orders, reconciling balances, monitoring aging, and performing balance sheet reconciliations. The role also involves driving process standardization and ensuring timely closing of financial periods in compliance with internal audit and SOX requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing compliance, internal audit & SOX requirements.
  2. Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process scope.
  3. Knowledge of the worldwide policies and procedures, identify compliance risks and recommend solutions.
  4. Analyze and resolve issues.
  5. Communicate with stakeholders

Skills

Required

  • At least 3 years of professional experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, MBA/ CA fresher/ part qualified Chartered Accountant or similar qualification preferred
  • Learning agility and adaptability to different business requirements.
  • Flexibility to be assigned in different shifts to support J&J's global services
  • Strong team working and relationship building skills
  • Ability to communicate well to team members at any level
  • Good analytical proficiencies
  • Ability to prioritize own deliverables and motivated to meet timetables
  • Knowledgeable of general accounting concepts, rules and legal requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAP or other ERPs an advantage
  • Experience in a multinational corporation desirable
  • US GAAP accounting knowledge preferred
