Senior Analyst, Gtm Analytics

This role is for a Senior Analyst, GTM Analytics at Vanta, focusing on supporting go-to-market strategies for overlay teams. The responsibilities include analyzing performance, building dashboards, developing forecasting and propensity models, and collaborating with Data Engineering. The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and BI tools, and experience with GTM/sales analytics in B2B SaaS. While not directly building AI, the role is open to using AI tools to enhance their work.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with Sales, Overlay leaders (Channel, Specialty Sales, Sales Engineering, Value Engineering), Finance, and RevOps to define success metrics and support strategic decisions
  2. Analyze GTM performance to identify productivity drivers, risks, and growth opportunities across complex sales motions
  3. Build and maintain scalable dashboards and self-service tools that enable first-level inspection while preserving metric integrity
  4. Develop forecasting models, propensity analyses, and prioritization frameworks to improve revenue predictability and resource allocation
  5. Automate and standardize operating review deliverables to reduce manual work and improve consistency

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in GTM/sales analytics, consulting, investment banking, or a comparable analytical role in B2B SaaS
  • Proven ability to own complex analyses that influence pipeline, productivity, or revenue outcomes
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL
  • strong experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce data structures and core GTM metrics
  • Ability to structure ambiguous business questions and translate large datasets into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills across Sales, RevOps, Finance, and Overlay teams
  • Clear communicator who can tailor insights for both executive and technical audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, or related field

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting Overlay functions such as Channel, Partners, Sales Engineering, or Sales Specialists
  • Experience building forecasting, predictive, or propensity models
  • Experience with Python/R, dbt, or modern data transformation workflows
