Senior Analyst, Procurement role at RTX supporting Government Interiors Seating direct product component and sub-assembly sourcing. Responsibilities include supplier contract negotiations, RFPs, work transitions, documentation, compliance, and contract awards. Requires U.S. citizenship and experience with government purchasing and supply chain practices.

What you'd actually do

  1. Clearly communicate with commodity manager, internal customers, and suppliers
  2. Ability to prepare, negotiate, and work through RFPs with supplier partners
  3. Technical acumen and ability to understand drawing specification and related requirements
  4. Strong skill set using Excel, Access and other analytical methodologies
  5. Collaborates with multiple internal stakeholders to develop and execute Supply Chain commodity strategies

Skills

Required

  • University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Nice to have

  • Supply Chain or Business Degree
  • wide range of commodities, manufacturing technologies and components from machined, mechanical fabrications, welding, soft goods, leather, fabric, cushions, foam, plastics, composites, engineered items such as restraints
  • Government purchasing and/or sourcing experience based on varying government requirements and regulations (FAR/DFAR)
  • Strong awareness and familiarity of Government Supply Chain practices and Government Commodity Management sourcing practices
  • Strong experience with Excel including macros, pivot tables etc. and some Access database and analytics methods experience
  • Supply Chain professional certification(s) such as CPIM, CSCP, CPSM
  • Experience with SAP as primary ERP/MRP system
