Salesforce is seeking a Senior Analyst, Sales Strategy & Operations to partner with global sales leadership, focusing on strategic planning, sales optimization, and operational support. The role requires expertise in data and analytics to provide strategic recommendations and insights through data-driven storytelling. Responsibilities include designing dashboards, defining KPIs, enabling operational rhythms, performing ad-hoc analyses, and collaborating across functions. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, data literacy, critical thinking skills, and familiarity with Salesforce CRM, SQL, Tableau, and AI tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as the go-to expert on data and analytics, providing strategic recommendations and insights through compelling, data-driven storytelling to influence key stakeholders.
  2. Design and build executive-level dashboards and self-serve reporting tools to track KPIs.
  3. Define key performance metrics and targets, build reports and dashboards to derive insights into the health of the business, identify areas of weakness, and present improvement recommendations to sales leadership.
  4. Enable and automate operational rhythms such as quarterly and monthly business reviews and annual planning by delivering high-quality insights and visuals.
  5. Perform ad-hoc analyses across multiple data sets and tools (examples include customer segmentation, sales participation, propensity to buy, market deep dives, white space, etc.).

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years (Senior Analyst) or 5+ years (Manager) of professional experience in consulting, sales strategy/business operations, or a highly analytical role, with demonstrated experience in data analytics / business intelligence.
  • Strong business acumen with a passion for data and analytics, including in-depth knowledge of sales-related datasets / metrics.
