As a Senior Analyst for Supply Chain Management, you will be responsible for owning national accounts with suppliers that ship freight to Walmart by doing managing data analytics, metrics, and overseeing levels of service from a transportation perspective. About the team The Supply Chain Management team focuses on optimizing national account operations by managing data analytics, service levels, and transportation systems. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, the team drives process improvements and resolves operational challenges to enhance network efficiency. Members apply expertise in supply chain analysis and root cause evaluation to support sustainable solutions and cost-effective practices. The team values clear communication, accountability, and continuous development to meet business objectives while maintaining high standards of integrity and operational excellence across Walmart’s distribution network. You’ll make an impact by… Creating content to have business reviews with suppliers at higher levels. Building partnerships within accounts to improve relationships with Walmart. Managing issues daily between various transportation teams and suppliers’ teams to meet expectations within those contracts. Implementing business processes and improvement strategies by staying up to date on supply chain and replenishment processes and procedures. Researching and analyzing root cause of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory, and return related issues. Conducting performance reviews of merchandising department, distribution centers, and suppliers. Supporting field-level direction and providing guidance for the execution of operations by acting as a liaison for the field. Communicating operational expectations to suppliers and transporters. Implementing supply chain flow process improvement efforts by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working between supply chain stakeholders.
