Senior Analytics Engineer - Finance

Legora Legora · Vertical AI · New York, NY · Engineering & Product

Legora is redefining how legal work gets done with an AI-native workspace. This Senior Analytics Engineer role focuses on building the financial data layer to power business reporting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. The role requires strong SQL, dbt, Python, and cloud data warehousing skills, with a deep understanding of SaaS metrics and financial concepts. The engineer will partner closely with Finance and GTM leadership to ensure data accuracy and reliability for board-level reporting and investor updates.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design, build, and maintain the data pipelines and warehouse models that power Legora's financial and business reporting - revenue, ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV, pipeline, margin, and more.
  2. Build the single source of truth for SaaS metrics, integrating data from billing, CRM, ERP/accounting systems, product telemetry, and finance spreadsheets.
  3. Partner closely with Finance and FP&A to support forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and monthly close - making financial data faster, cleaner, and more trustworthy than it has any right to be at our stage.
  4. Own the data layer that feeds board reporting, investor updates, fundraising materials, and strategic reviews - and make sure the numbers always tie out.
  5. Build and maintain dashboards and automated reporting for Finance, RevOps, GTM, and the leadership team, and enable true self-service for stakeholders.
