Senior Associate, Art Director

Art Director role focused on brand campaigns and insight-driven performance marketing for Capital One Canada. What you'd actually do

  1. Be comfortable designing for digital platforms across multiple placements and sizes.
  2. Understand the importance of strategy and marketing; be interested in understanding the bigger picture.
  3. Be able to internalize brand design systems in order to execute creative at a high level.
  4. Learn and adhere to specific process steps within projects and speak up when you see opportunities for improvement
  5. Collaborate with a team to generate ideas and creative concepts, as well as be self-guided and work independently.

Skills

Required

  • 3-5+ years of agency or in-house experience as an Art Director or Graphic Designer in digital marketing channels
  • Proficient in Figma and Adobe CS including Photoshop and Illustrator
  • A strong portfolio that showcases your work and demonstrates your experience

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree as an Art Director, Graphic Designer or similar
  • Experience with marketing strategy, interaction design and understanding of UX principles
  • Experience in the financial services industry, or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience with performance marketing, delivering work for large-scale testing—specifically in Meta channels.
  • Meta advertising, display advertising, content marketing, user testing and social media best practices.
